Weekly Bulletin OUR LADY OF TAHOE PARISH MISSION STATEMENT As disciples of Jesus Christ, and in the name of Mary, Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Community welcomes and embraces all those who come to us. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, through worship, the sacraments and loving service, we provide for one another’s spiritual and material needs. In being so nourished we reach out in faith to serve the larger community. BLESSINGS OF THROATS will be done at all the Masses on Jan. 30th & Jan. 31st. ASH WEDNESDAY MASSES will be at 8:30AM & 5:30PM on Feb. 17th. STATIONS OF THE CROSS will be at 5:30PM for the Fridays during Lent except for Good Friday. “SOUP AND BREAD” will be held in the Parish Hall after stations. JAN 31, 2010 FOURTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME READINGS for Feb.7th—FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME SECOND COLLECTION: 1/30/10 & 1/31/10 (PARISH NEEDS) ENVIRONMENTAL COODINATOR: WE ARE IN NEED OF A PERSON OR PERSONS TO HANDLE THIS IMPORTANT FUNCTION. IF INTERESTED, PLEASE CONTACT THE OFFICE FOR DETAILS. MEN’S FELLOWSHIP: On Thurs., Feb. 4th the annual Valetine’s Day dinner will be held in the Parish Hall to honor all the women of our parish. Women are encouraged to attend! Cocktails: 5:30PM followed by a delicious dinner at 6:30PM. Please sign the sheet at the back of the church if you plan to attend. LECTORS & EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS: Please contact Bob St. Angelo (775) 588-1295 as to availability for the month of February.
WHY CATHOLIC? KICK-OFF CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK: St. Theresa School in South Lake Tahoe will have an OPEN HOUSE this Sunday, (after the 10AM Mass) between 11 & 12:30.
